iSagacity Releases Remote Manager

Half Moon Bay, California (March 15, 2003) – iSagacity, Inc., a leading supplier of Intelligent Process Monitoring technology, today announced that it has released Version 1.0 of it’s Remote Manager™ web based monitoring product. Remote Manager is accessed through a secure web site hosted in the iSagacity Data Center. Remote Manager provides plant or equipment level access to an end-users process data. Data is provided to Remote Manager through the Data Transfer Tool. End-users only need a web browser to view their data anytime, anywhere.

Remote Manager is designed to use a suite of value added modules that are designed for specific monitoring applications in the process industries. iSagacity currently has two modules that are used to monitor steam boilers and cooling towers, and more are under development. Remote Manager used an advanced pattern recognition algorithm. The algorithm uses a library of "fingerprints" of system behavior under faulted or abnormal conditions. The real time data is continuously compared to the library of scenarios to discern patterns in the data. Remote Manager is not only a powerful data visualization engine but also is an early warning system and a decision support tool. Fingerprints can be developed using advanced mathematical models or through a fuzzy logic like approach.
